Husker-Net aims to deploy two tracks: Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Software-Defined Radio (SDR)

COTS Track  

Objective: provide 24/7 availability and reliability to support diverse use cases and applications

Approach: deploy commercial base stations with stable open-source core networks (e.g., Open5GS), over CBRS Band 48.

SDR Track

Objective: design open cellular edge network to support advanced wireless network research 

Approach: deploy open base stations with open-source core networks (e.g., Open5GS), over Band 78 under granted FCC license.
