[09/2025] We installed and tested the COTS track, including the site at Oldfather Hall (City campus) and Plant Science Hall (campus). We are working on the coverage and capacity measurements in the field, more results are coming.
[06/2025] We received the power amplifier and low-noise amplifier (max 20 Watt), and completed the end-to-end demo with the PA/LNA, with OAI 5G and Open5GS and OnePlus 9 phone in the lab.
[04/2025] We received 4 outdoor and 3 indoor 5G base stations from the vendor. Start working on testing and planning for the phase 2.

[02/2025] The debugging of the SDR track shows a very limited coverage (USRP X300 + OAI + Open5GS), we are working on purchasing a power amplifier and LNA to boost the coverage.
[01/2025] The installation of stage 1 (oldfather site) is completed, thanks to our contractors, including TowerCraft and HighTower. The research team is working on testing and debugging both the COTS and SDR sites. More updates will be revealed soon.

[03/2024] We obtained the dedicated VLAN for Husker-Net in the UNL Campus network, with the help of UNL ITS department.
